Sosebee Drywall & Construction was built from humble beginnings, hard work, and a belief that the way you do the work—and the way you treat people along the way—matters.

Born and raised in the Kansas City area, William Sosebee started the company in 2007 and built it from the field up. What began with William doing the work himself has grown through years of hands-on experience, strong relationships, and a reputation earned one project at a time.

Today, William remains actively involved in the field, working alongside his team and helping maintain the craftsmanship and standards that have shaped Sosebee from the beginning. As the company has grown, Tash has joined him in leading the business and operations side, helping build the systems and foundation needed for Sosebee's next chapter.

Their backgrounds may have started worlds apart—William here in the Kansas City area and Tash in South Africa—but one South African principle has become especially meaningful in the way they view the company: Ubuntu.

Often expressed as “I am because we are,” Ubuntu is the belief that who we are is shaped by the people around us and that we become stronger through one another. It reflects something that has long been important at Sosebee Drywall & Construction: valuing people, believing in second chances, creating opportunities, and recognizing that no successful company is built by one person alone.

Nearly two decades after it began, Sosebee Drywall & Construction continues to grow, but its foundation remains the same: work hard, take pride in what you build, stand behind your work, and never forget the people who helped you build it.
